This is a template policy written for the Vidaara demo storefront. Replace the placeholder contact and business details with real ones, and have it reviewed by a qualified professional before this store takes real orders.

1. Agreement to these terms

By browsing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.

2. Products and handcrafted variation

Every piece is handmade in small batches. Natural stone colour, size and finish can vary slightly from photographs, and this is not treated as a fault. Product descriptions, weights and dimensions are approximate.

3. The Custom Studio

  • Designs you create in the Custom Studio (base, string, bead sequence and notes) are for your own order — we do not claim ownership of the specific combination you arrange, but the underlying bead artwork, icons and pricing logic remain Vidaara's property.
  • Because a custom piece is made specifically for you, please double-check your design before adding it to your bag.
  • Custom pieces are still covered by the returns policy below.

4. Pricing and payment

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include an estimated tax shown at checkout; the final tax amount is confirmed on your invoice.
  • Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully verified.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel an order placed at an incorrect price, with a full refund.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Before dispatch: you may cancel a ready-made order for a full refund any time before it ships. Contact us as soon as possible — once a custom piece is on the bench, cancellation may not be possible.
  • Returns: we accept returns within 30 days of delivery, including custom pieces, provided the item is unworn and in its original packaging.
  • Refunds: approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 7–10 working days of us receiving the returned item.
  • Damaged or incorrect items: contact us with photos within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement, repair or refund at no cost to you.
  • Re-stringing: as noted in our care & repairs guidance, we re-knot any Vidaara piece free of charge for the life of the piece — you only cover postage.

6. Shipping

Shipping timelines and charges are listed on our Shipping & returns page. Risk in the goods passes to you once a delivery is completed at the address you provided.

7. Intellectual property

The Vidaara name, logo, photography, site content and bead-rendering artwork are our property or used under licence, and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vidaara's liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
